One of the advantages of using the BeerBox® in your arsenal of homebrewing equipment is the chance to make a real ale. No force carbonation here via the BeerBox® but rather a long, slow natural carbonation process allowing you to serve a real ale to your friends.
What makes real ale “real” you ask? Real ale is a natural product brewed using traditional ingredients and left to mature in the cask (container – BeerBox® in our case) from which it is served in the pub through a process called secondary fermentation. It is this process which makes real ale unique amongst beers and develops the wonderful tastes and aromas which processed beers can never provide. Personally, it has a softer carbonation which results in a smoother mouth feel and In my humble opinion, preferred to a forced carbonation.
